70 WEEKS

70
weeks
69 weeks have passed.
One week is still to come.
By: Bishop Art Ferriol,

The teaching of 70 weeks is found on Daniel 9:24-27.

"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troubles times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but nor for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

At the beginning of these Holy Scriptures that we have read, in verse 24, it is clear that this prophecy of the 70 weeks is only for the people of God. The people here are the Israelites and the city is Jerusalem. After the seventy weeks will come the millennium. To the Jews, this is not the millennium but the Kingdom age. And at this age six things will be done by God. After the seventy weeks, God will finish transgressions, make an end of sins, make reconciliation for iniquity, bring everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and the prophecy, and anoint the Most Holy One. The one referred to here as the "Most Holy One" is Jesus Christ and He will sit in Jerusalem as King of kings and Lord of lords. Therefore, Jesus Christ seated on the throne in one thousand years is the fulfillment of God's promise to David.

"Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit up the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my love, as thou hast walked before me" (-11 Chronicles 6:16)

"He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." (Luke 1:32-33)

and to the Church

"If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us." (11 Tim. 2:12)
"And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." (Rev. 5:10)
We call it: The Millennium. It came from the Latin Word Millennium which means; Mile-a thousand, Anum-year. If used as an adjective, it is the millennial reign of Christ.

In the 70 weeks, one day equals one year. A week means seven years. All in all 70 weeks is equal to 490 years. The counting of the 70 weeks began when the command was made by King Darius for Israelites, who were, at that time, captives of the kingdom of Babylon, to go back to their native land.

The Seventy Weeks have three parts: the first seven weeks, the 62 weeks, and the last one week. The age between the past 69 weeks and the remaining one week is called The Church Age. It is not considered as part of the 70 weeks. This is a different age, which is why it is placed in a parenthesis. The Church Age is inserted within the 70 weeks due to the unbelief of Israel. The 70 weeks will when the fullness of the Gentiles has come.

"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in." (Romans 11:25)

On the 69th week, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, was crucified. The counting of the 70 weeks stopped to give way to the Church age. When the Church Age closes, the 70 weeks will continue counting. You will understand why the the apostles asked Jesus Christ, after His resurrection, the question: "When they therefore were come together, they ask of him, saying Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?" (Acts 1:6). This question gives us an insight that the Apostles knew about the promise of the 70 weeks wherein the kingdom will be restored to Israel once the 70 weeks has been fulfilled. They knew that the 69th weeks is finished and there was only one week remaining.

The answer of the Lord is: And he said unto them: It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. (Acts 1:7)

It is important to know that the times or seasons is not for the early Apostles to know but will be known to whomsoever God will reveal it to. Hence the times and seasons of Christs return could be known but not the exact hour or day.

These times and seasons were revealed tot he Goodman of the House. This is the doctrine of the watches This is exclusively a doctrine revealed to the living Apostle in the End-Time. The doctrine of the division of times or the four watches was not taught until it was revealed during our time. Though there are Protestant books that teach the first three divisions, they did not call it watches nor did they know that our time today is called the 4th watch.

This is why the Apostle in the End-Time is the fulfillment of the prophecy of Christ in Matthew 24:43;

"But know this, that if the Goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up."

The Goodman of the House has three qualifications: he must first be an apostle; secondly, he must know the doctrine of the 4th watch and know the watches; and lastly, he must not only teach that every one of us must watch, but he is also the number one watcher. He is our example in watching.

In these three requirements of the Goodman of the House, all is fulfilled in our Apostle and Brother Arsenio Ferriol. This is why he is the Goodman of the House. He is being used by the Lord to present the Church blamelessly at His return. We are now at the 4th watch, which is the end time. The next question is: Where are we in the fourth watch? In 1 John 2:18. we are now at the last hour of the end-time. We have only one hour to work. We are on the 11th hour. After this one hour; the Rapture will come. The believers will be snatched away by the power of God. This will happen in just a twinkling of an eye or in the fraction of a second, then the saints will be in the presence of the Lord, and we will be with Him. This will be the end of the Church Age. After this, the last week or 70th week will start which is the Tribulation Period where in the Antichrist will reign for seven years.

It is therefore imperative that we continue to obey the teachings of the Goodman of the House that we watch so that we can be prepared and be able to escape the coming Great Tribulation.

The CONDUCTS BEFITTING the GOSPEL

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. - Philippians 1:27
By: Bishop Jonathan Ferriol

The gospel of Jesus Christ is not just mere confession of the lips. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ cannot be reduced to a mere teaching. The gospel is not simply something that we can print on glossy paper and out to people. There is more to the gospel than what we think it is. The gospel is a lifestyle.

Somebody said a long time ago, "Preach the gospel at all times. If necessary, use words." In 1 Timothy 3:15 it says, "If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household." As members of God's household, it is expected of us that we must live to a certain standard. We must know how to conduct ourselves in a manner that is in keeping with what we say and with what we profess. Apostle Paul is giving us the understanding that there are conduct consistent with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There are five conducts that befit the gospel we profess:

1. We must defend the gospel.
The Apostle Paul used the word "defense" twice in his letter to the Philippian church (Philippians 1:7, 16). We must know how to protect and preserve the gospel. This means that we must see to it that the purity and the essence of the gospel is preserved and not diluted by any other kind of message; that the gospel that saved you will also be shared to others.

If we will not defend the gospel, we will eventually see our faith becoming extinct. There are forces in our school system, in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods that are seeking to get rid of God. You must know how to protect and preserve. The only way we can do this is when we preach and share the gospel.

2. We must content for the gospel.
The Apostle Paul is telling us to contend for the faith that was once entrusted to us (Jude 1:3). Understand this: The true Christian faith is combat. We must make a stand. There are principles that are not meant to be compromised. The only thing that can make us overcome that works of the enemy is when we learn how to fight for our faith. We need to begin speaking the gospel, telling others that there is a Savior and that they need salvation. Make a stand in your family. Make a stand in your school. We must be heard.

3. We must suffer for the gospel.
"It has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him", (Philippians 1:29). True authentic Christianity is a life that is always tempered with righteous suffering. Do not go the path of what is convenient and what is easy. If you will really live for your faith, you will go against the gain of the wold. You will be upset to the people around because they will not agree with your faith and will be hostile to you. They might misunderstand and misinterpret you, but don't mind them, What you must be mindful of is what God will tell you when you eventually face Him.

4. We must aid the gospel.
We must give our partnership to the gospel. The Philippian church was complimented for aiding Apostle Paul time and time again (Philippians 4:14-15). How did they give? First, they gave physically. They were there. The best support you can give is your very self. Not only that, the Philippian church sent somebody among them, a young man named Epaphroditus, to various missions. He was a young man who almost died serving the Lord. Spending for the gospel is little, but the prize will be big.
Second, they gave financially. We need to aid, spend and invest. Give generously to advance the work of the Lord.

5. We must live in the gospel.
Live your life in keeping with the gospel. There are certain lifestyles we must adhere to. Paul is telling us we must be obedient to God's will, humble towards one another. We must also know how to rejoice, and to hold onto healthy mind set that is godly and apostolic. Rather than fill our minds with negative things, we must fill our minds with the things of God, because better things will always accompany our salvation. Paul says,
"Whatever you have learned, seen or heard from me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you", - Philippians 3:9

Follow apostolic way of serving the Lord. You will find yourself stronger and better.

What is an Active CHURCH?

Watching means doing the whole will of God especially in this end of the last days.
The true church is active. We are not dormant. We are awake, not asleep. We are alive, not dead. We move. Reach out. Grow.

Furthermore, we are watching for the Lord's return. It is an activity that is neither passive nor idle.Watching means doing the whole will of God especially in this end of the last days. The Holy Spirit empowers each member to be able to do His will.

In this closing chapter of the church age, the Lord raised up the Goodman of the House to make the church watch for His return. He guides the nation of God while waiting for His return.

Go Preach the Gospel
This is the greatest commission of making the nations of the world as disciples of Christ. We get up from our seats and go out to the world as His hands and feet. We reach out to people. Our lips speak the pure and unadulterated gospel of Christ. Our lives manifest the brightness of Christ from our hearts. Those who believed in our message will be saved.

As the return of the Lord nears, evangelism will intensify. Each member is expected to share the gospel to everyone, everyday, everywhere. The good news is preached to public places and vehicles. The gospel is also proclaimed through various media-television, radio, magazine and internet.

Through and by all means the whole world will be saturated with the true gospel of Christ.

Occupy till I Come
To occupy means "to fill or take up space or time". We are fighting for the hearts and minds of people.
We are in a war. We are in the battle for salvation - one person at a time. The saved soul will be added to the Church by the Lord.

The sent ones, lead by the apostles, will make every believer into disciplined learner and follower of Christ. Through the apostolic teachings, all the wrong ideas of men and the devil will be destroyed and brought down.

And in its place, God's temple will be built. It will be a place where the Holy Spirit will dwell.

Gather all Things
In this end of the last days, the church has been entrusted to gather all things for Christ. In the different aspects of human life, every Christian is expected to be God's stewards. We are the manifestation of how a biblical management of God's blessings is.

The Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, is the epitome of this expansive ministry. As Bishop Dan Balais (National Director, Philippines for Jesus Movement) in his greetings for Apostle's 75th Birthday said, "visionary leadership and skillful stewardship of entrepreneurial and wealth - generating investments and projects for the expansion of the Kingdom of God is an unmistakable sign of God's anointing, blessing and favor..."

We have a holistic ministry. We cater to other people's needs. In times of calamities and disaster; we extend our hands to help the victims.

This is God's love in action. Everything we are doing is because of His love. And while we are waiting for the return of Jesus, we manifest His love to all."

Grateful to Have Found the True Teachings

This is the testimony of Sis. Conception "Connie" Papa of  PMCC (4th watch) Baltimore, MD

Sis, Connie was baptized on the 3rd Sunday of May 2011 after she was handed a bible tract around September of 2010. Prior to this, she was attending a cultic group of Apollo Quiboloy, a Filipino preacher claiming to be Jesus Christ in Filipino body.

"Bro. Neil, do I need to be baptized again?" was Connie's first question upon attending PMCC (4th watch) Baltimore. "My husband and I were already baptized from another church," she added, but deep in her heart the question lingered. For 2 years she was listening to Apollo Quiboloy and his claim to be Jesus Christ, the Son of God "in Filipino body". She was waiting for a sign to tell her this was the right church for her - until she received a job offer from Middle East and had to relocate. The rest is history.

Sis. Connie decided to be baptized after Bro. Neil Robeniol, the local pastor of PMCC (4th watch) Baltimore locale, shared to her God's word on the subject. When Bro. Neil scheduled her baptism, it was actually not Sis. Connie's day off from work, but at just the right time a co-worker switched shifts with her, and the baptism pushed through. What made her decide? She saw the teaching in the PMCC (4th watch) were all base in the bible, unlike the teachings of Quiboloy that are unbiblical. Every time Bro. Neil preached, she knew it was the truth because she could read it for herself in the Scriptures.

After baptism she became very active in the church, and she even attended the East Coast Sub-District Camp. Sis, Connie remembered that when she was in her former faith, they never involve her in any of their ministries. She said that since she was baptized in the true church, she never missed any Sunday worship, and even weekday bible study. She makes sure she's off from work. Now, she loves fellow-shipping with brethren, and her desire to serve the Lord is always there.

She learned that all her loved ones and friends must also be saved. She started sharing the word of God to her family, and by the grace of God, some of her relatives and friends were baptized and are now serving the Lord. Sis. Connie is very thankful because God had placed her in the true church, with the true teachings taught by God's sent one in the end-time Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol and his co-ministers. Sis. Connie remains one of the active members in Baltimore, faithfully serving the Lord together with her family.

I.C.U. Soliloquy

by: R-Vee Gail Camposagrado

The annoying sound of alarm clock woke me up from a fitful sleep. It was Friday, the last day of my duty for the week, and I need to drag myself to get up and shake my lazy bones to face another day of torment in ICU. Fifteen minutes before our call time, a nurse and I were given the endorsements of our patient assignment and I breathe in relief after knowing that I will handle a "toxic-free" patient, which means that I will only render routine care. Somehow, the pre-weekend blues was placed at bay.

It wasn't until we receive a call from the other station, informing us that one of their patients will be transferred in the ICU for strict monitoring purposes. At first, we were not alarmed since we only need to keep track of her blood pressure and breathing  pattern. "Di ko kayo ito-toxic", my fellow nurse kindly said, and I smiled at her as I raised the head part of the bed. She was entrusted to one of my fellow nurses but I helped in assisting her needs so that I can do personal evangelism later to her and to the significant others. A few minutes later, the patient started complaining that she has difficulty in breathing and that the artificial oxygen must be increased. Moments later, her upper and lower extremities started to constrict, her lips turned bluish, signaling oxygen loss. The pupils of her eyes dilated, no longer responsive to light. The CPR and heart-pumping medications failed to rescue her. Right then and there, she died. Browsing the clinical history, I found out that her coronary heart disease worsened through the years. I was dumbfounded when the doctors declared the time of death. It was followed by a succession of deafening cries coming from relatives and friends, who neglected the doctor's explanations. "Di man lang ako nakapag-PE (Personal Evangelism)", I silently uttered. I terribly felt sorry for their loss, but what was more disconcerting in my part was my failure to share a verse or two which could have at least kept her calm before she began chasing her breath.

Man's life is so unpredictable and fragile, as the old cliché goes. We may be physically stable now, but tomorrow is still another day. That death encounter brought me a myriad of thoughts. It dawned on me that there are tons of reasons for me to be thankful to God about. One of which is that the Lord has made me physically fit, free from any malady or vices, making me more inclined to honor Christ with my body because I was bought for a price (1 Cor. 6:19-20). But beyond the steadfast physique, I am more grateful that I obtained salvation; I am assured that Jesus, the lover of my soul made it possible for a sinner like me to be reconciled with God, the Father, through Christ's death.

I went home right away after that dreadful circumstance, silent and speechless inside the car. Before I finally decided to retire to bed, I kneeled down and poured my heart out to God. That moment of quiet communion with Him brought a deep sense of peace in me. It is the peace of God that transcends all understanding which enabled me to ponder about my daily confrontations. He speaks not only in grandiose events but even in our most mundane activities, revealing to us His will, reminding us of our ultimate duty, and it is our task to faithfully respond according to the values and teachings being reiterated to us by the Sent Ones of God. I may not know exactly by now why it happened, or why it had a profound effect in me. But after that brief confession with the Lord, I was able to sleep soundly. Also, I vowed to come up with a more innovative and effective means of doing personal evangelism on my next duty schedule.

The next day, I received a box of PE (Personal Evangelism) tracks.

This is the testimony of Sis. Amelia Caraballe of Sampaloc, Manila local

This is the testimony of Sis. Jackielou Jonsson from Novaliches local

Testimony of Sis. Rosa Viacrusis from Sucat, Parañaque

This is a testimony of  Sis. Julien Boncocan about Ptr. Bong Ferriol of Marikina City. This testimony is one of the examples of the "coming of the evil days - Ecc 12:1" (click the link)
"Remember now thy Creator in the days of your youth while the evil days come not, nor the days draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them."
The "evil days" refers to the coming of the sunset in a man's life and the drawing near of death or the slow declination of man's body.
------

Does GOD Know You ?

by: Bishop Jonathan Ferriol

People typically seek to know more about famous, influential and powerful figures. Many even take pride that they know the life stories of these celebrities individuals in entertainment, politics, sports and society, in general. This is also true in religion and in spirituality circle too. There are so many people today who are saying that they know God and that they are even close to Him. Certainly, it is necessary to know God but I think that it is more important to know God knows us in return.

The million dollar question, therefore is this: DOES GOD KNOW US?

In Hebrews 11:16, it states that "instead, they were longing for a better country a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them." It is one thing to call upon God but it is another think to be able to say with full assurance that our God equally recognize us when we call upon Him!

Jesus has made it clear that there are people whom He denies knowing. Not all people who claim to know God or who profess that they have knowledge of God are actually known by God. In the book of Matthew 7:23, we read that there are people whom God will reject when they eventually come before Him in His presence. "Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" This is a very scary thought to ponder! Being rejected by our fellow men can be hurtful all the more being rejected by God is surely damning. A time come when all men will stand before God and most assuredly, not everyone will be acknowledge by God. Definitely there are those who will be received by God but there are those who will also be denied by God.

There are so many people today who have this misconception that because they are engage in religion and rhetoric they already have God's favor and recognition on their side. However, Jesus Christ pointed out that being religious and being very vocal about it, doesn't necessarily mean that God will accept them. Furthermore, neither strong piety and religious performance, even if they are miraculous and seemingly spectacular in nature, are enough to gain God's favor or acceptance. Jesus brought this out in Matthew 7:21-22, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?" Apostle Paul also added, "they claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him..."(Titus 1:16).

Yet on the other hand, there are people today whom God knows and is pleased with. These people actually know God and God knows them as well! Simply put, these are the people who have relationships with God and have access to His presence. In the book of Galatians 4:9, "But now that you know God or rather are known by God how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?"

Those who genuinely know God is known by God Himself. And this is what I would like to submit to you, that it is more important to be known by God ultimately.

So who then are these people who know God and God knows also? There are 5 characteristics that identify who these people are.

1. Those who have the spirit of God.
The spirit of God is the very power of God that enables us to realize who we are as far as our connection with God is concerned. How can one tell he is a child of God? When he has the spirit of God. "You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the spirit, if indeed the spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. For those who are led by the spirit of God are the children of God. The spirit you received does not to make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the spirit you received brought about your adoption to son-ship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children (Romans 8:9, 15,16). As God's children, we are no longer under the control of the sinful nature, we are now controlled by the spirit of God. If you do not have the spirit of God, there is no way you can validate your claim that you are a child of God or as somebody who knows God.

It is the spirit of God who will testify to your spirit that you are God's child. Not all people have the spirit of God. The Holy Spirit can only be received if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and be baptized. In John 1:12, "Yet to all who did received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"

Who is he who is known by God? He who has the spirit of God and received the seal of ownership (2 Corinthians 1:22). The spirit of God will be the one who will reveal more about our Father in heaven. No amount of religious education can ever equal the illuminating work of the Holy Spirit in your life.

2. Those who have the love of God.
In 1 Corinthians 8:3. it says, "But the man who loves God is known by God." There are two questions that we need to answer to determine if one really do have the love of God. First is "Do you love God?" and second "Do you love God more than yourself, work, pleasure, family or worldly ambitions?" If you answer yes in the first but cannot answer the second one with a straight face and clear conscience, then you don't have the love of God yet in your life.

Because to love God is to love Him and Him alone! Deuteronomy 6:5 makes it plainly clear, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and your soul and with all your strength." Jesus says you cannot love two masters; because you will end up loving one and hating the other (Matthew 6:24).

That is why the most grievous sin in the Bible is adultery, both in moral and spiritual sense. When you love your passions, pleasure, and sins more than you love God, then you actually commit the sin of spiritual adultery! God's love is surely something you won't be able to prove in you. That is what Apostle John points to us so clearly, "Do not love the world or anything is the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not them" (1 John 2:15). You cannot love God halfheartedly.  This is the reason why many so-called believers in our country today are carnal and worldly. Because they love God and are part of the Church but at the same time they cannot let go of the world. But God wants us to love Him and Him alone.

Do you know God? If you do, then you must love Him. Because the one who loves God is known by God. And to love God is actually to love the things He love. You must love the commands of God. In fact, the most powerful expression of love for God is to obey His commands. "This is love for God: to obey his commandments and his commands are not burdensome" (1 John 5:3). His commands are not impossible to do and obey.

3. Those who have the words of God.
God can be known because God is self-revealing God. He has shown himself through His creation (Psalm 19:1). He has revealed himself through human events (Acts 17:24-27). Most of all, He has revealed himself through Christ Jesus (Matthew 11:27). Jesus Christ is the greatest revelation of who God is. Christ is the exact representation of the Father whom we cannot see and has revealed Himself through His written words. Those who follow God's words as they are preached by the true sent ones of God in the teaching of Christ do have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the son" (2 John 1:9). This truth was actually first taught by Jesus when He said, "Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God" (John 8:47).

You could tell a lot about a person by how he responds to the words of God. Like what Jesus said, those who belong to Him will embrace His words but those who are against God, will surely go against His words and teachings (1 John 4:6). Tragically, more and more people choose unbiblical and at times, demonic teaching over the pure teaching from God's words, the Bible (Matthew 15:16).

But in God's true Church, we simply preach the word of God. Because the word of God will be the one that will set us free (John 8:32). It will set you free from your ignorance, sins and vice. Those who have the words of God and do them are those who know God.

4. Those who have the will of God.
Jesus Christ makes no equivocation in Matthew 7:21 as to who God knows, "not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Those who do the will of God will enter heaven and those who do not will be rejected. We may have plans for ourselves but ultimately, God's plan and will alone will remain forever. Hence, people especially, believers must also make plans in conformity to the will of God (James 4:13-15). Don't be satisfied that you have plans and that you are intentional to bring it to pass. We must ask ourselves always this question, "is this really God's will for me?" "is this really what God wants for me to do?" Jesus wants us to understand His will. And ultimately the will of God will take over and it will be supreme over the rest of our lives. Jesus prayed "your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!" You cannot go against the will of God. That's why God said to the patriarchs He was not ashamed to be called their God because they did the will of God.

5. Those who are in the true Church of God.

In the books of John 10:16., God wants people in His church which is His flock. Jesus Christ said, "I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd." Having cited this, we could now conclude that not all so called believers who are a part of religious denomination or Church are in the flock of God. Because if they were, then why would Jesus want them to be a part of His flock? the truth of the matter is this; not all churches today are founded by Christ and are sustained by the very teaching of Christ or headed by Christ's true representatives. There are false churches just as there are also true churches of Christ. Praise the Lord because the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th watch) is one such true church!.

Only those who belong to the right church built by Christ through His genuine apostles could truly claim that they know God and that He also knows them! Why is that? Because it takes the Lord Jesus Himself for someone to be put in the true Church. One cannot just waltz in into the right flock on his own volition or choice; he must be supernaturally added no less than by the Savior Himself (Acts 2:47). But how could one be added if the Lord Jesus Christ doesn't know the person in the first place? That's why only those who are in the true Church of the living God could prove that they are really known by God. We praise God because we are in God's true Church and we know God, and better yet, God knows us! And the more we know God, the more we understand how blessed we are.

CONSECRATION: Birth Place of Revival

by: Nathaniel F.S.

"Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you." (Joshua 3:5). God was speaking to the nations of Israel, who at the particular time in history successfully moved out of their slavery in Egypt. When they were about to enter the promise land, this was the very instruction Joshua told them: "Consecrate yourselves."

Before you could experience a spiritual breakthrough, and really come out as a victor; you will first of all see this need for consecration. There's no other way we can experience the success and the victory that awaits us tomorrow unless we learn to consecrate. To consecrate means to be set apart; it is also identified in the idea of purity and holiness.

There are 3 things that we must understand: Why consecration?

1. Because of who God is.
Our deep understanding of God's holiness is where we will be able to seek consecration. And this is something God has made known to His early people in the Old Testament, and now in our time (1 Peter 1:15-16).
In whatever it is that we do, we need to be holy because the God who has called us is holy. And to be holy is to be separated, to be clean, and to be pure. We need to understand that the reason we are seeking holiness is because we are captured by the holiness of God. That's why in revival, God is the front and the center of everything we do. As God's people, all we want to be is to become the people He wants us to be. And the more holy we are, the more we will see God and His enabling power in our lives.

2. Because of who we are in God.
We are God's possession. We used to be under the slavery of Satan. We used to do the things the world does. But now we are no longer the world's - we are God's. In Greek, this is "kuriakon": "That which belongs to the Lord". And God would not let anyone of His to be forsaken. God has already bought us. He sent His Son Jesus Christ, His Son in heaven, to be our ransom.

Now what is it about us God would desire? Out of His marvelous grace, not minding our sins, He wants to use us, God wants that whatever it is that belongs to Him be clean. We must walk away from sin. We must seek consecration because whoever wants more of God must be holy.

3. Because of what sin does.
Sin destroys (Galatians 6:7-8). Sin is like seed. It begins with a desire, which gives birth to a sin, then when it is full grown it gives birth to death (James 1:14).
Let's examine ourselves at this moment. Are we disobeying something in our lives today in the light of the Scriptures? Is there something about our Christian life that we are not doing? Is there something about our Christian lives today that we are doing and not doing it properly?

Here's the word from the Bible: "Watch out," because eventually it will catch up on upon you. One sinful thought drives an action; one wrong feeling will force a habit. Nothing stays in constant with sin. And prolonged sin could be disastrous. But with consecration, the effect of sin is minimized, because you are nipping sin at the bud; you address the very source of sin.

Consecration is detoxification. You flush out everything that is toxic that just poison you: sinful conversations, thought process, bad company. In consecration, it is just you and God. That is why you spend more time in prayer, you fast, because you want to have more of God.

Replicating Goodness

by: members of 4th watch

Perfectly united IN MIND and thought
Christ likeness means "resembling or showing the spirit of Christ". Being a person who has qualities like Jesus Christ. Paul said "For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son..."(Romans 8:29). God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, on earth to make it possible for goodness to be replicated. The Holy Spirit empowers the believers in doing good.

When Jesus Christ went back to heaven, He said to the first 12 apostles to teach "them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Mat 28:20 NIV). He sent them as light and salt of the world. "Everyday they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah" (Acts 5:42). When Apostle Paul was sent, he has "not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God" (Acts 20:27). The life of Christ that was multiplied in the lives of the early apostles continued to be multiplied to the people of the Church.

The sent ones have the task of preparing the Church for perfection. If we follow them, how can we be sure that our lives will be like that of Christ?

The Pattern

The primary desire of the Lord's sent one is to know Jesus Christ. In Philippians 3:8 Paul declared, "I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ." For them it is Christ or nothing.

The lives of the sent ones are the perfect examples of what God can do to those who believes. They are examples of following the whole counsel of God. Through their lives, others can view the life of Christ. That is the reason why Apostle Paul explicitly said, "Pattern yourselves after me [follow my example], as I imitate and follow Christ (the Messiah)" (1 Corinthians 11:1, Amplified Bible).

The Process
Paul wrote to the Philippian brethren, "practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it" (Philippians 4:9). They taught everything needed for life and holiness. They gave their lives for the Lord. They speak God's pure and unadulterated word. They showed the way to the Father. And they lived lives worthy of the gospel.

These things they did, we should copy. We should remain steadfast to the apostolic teachings. We must also give our lives to the Lord and to the sent ones (2 Corinthians 8:4). We must always do what we heard from them (James 2:25). We should follow their steps. And we must partner with them in living the good news.

The Product

It is the desire of the sent ones of God "that you be perfectly united in mind and thought" (1 Corinthians 1:9). With this we will be assured that we are doing God's will. It also means we will be changed from glory to glory. We will continue until "all attain oneness in the faith in the comprehension of the full an accurate knowledge of the Son of God" (Ephesians 4:13)

In the end-time church, God called and sent the Goodman of the House to watch for the return of Christ. He continues to proclaim the real Jesus Christ "admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ" (Colossians 1:28)

By: Bishop Osie Quillao

1. May Kapakumbabaan

2.  May Kahabagan

- Habacuc 2:2

Ang Kapangyarihan ng Espiritu Santo sa Pangangaral

 by: Bishop Resting Zonio
